How to be an Assistant Scout Master

Troop 1776 needs parents willing to:

  • Help with camping trips by pitching-in with driving, watching out for the safety of our scouts, and sharing knowledge.
  • We occasionally need special help to facilitate the planning of summer camp, a campfire program, or service project.
  • You may be in a profession or have a hobby that lends itself to being just right to add value to be a Merit Badge Counselor.
  • As you see the value and fun in Scouting, perhaps you will consider being part of the Troop Committee or an Assistant Scoutmaster.

You can do any of the above for Scouting, and you and your son will benefit.

If this message sparks your interest in “asking how I can help” then please speak to the Scoutmaster, scoutmaster@bsa1776.org or the Committee Chair, committeechair@bsa1776.org.
