"Harry has been a important part of this Troop for many years and no doubt has touched the lives of every Scout in our ranks. Harry was a good man and a kind soul and always there to teach and inspire not only the Scouts but the leaders and parents as well. He has been missed during his recent illness and he will always be missed by our Troop and the many others that he has touched in his over 50 years of service to Scouting. On behalf of the entire Troop 1776 family our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Ruth and his family. Please see the information below concerning the arrangements – NOTE: As a group the Troop will meet at the funeral home parking lot at 7:00 PM on Sunday and proceed in together, please be in full ‘Class A’ uniform."
